DigiTech Retreat 2019
Our first DigiTech Retreat launched in March 2019, and was a unique opportunity for black womxn* to explore the world of digital and technology in a purposeful space.
BGC DigiTech Retreat was part of a larger initiative in the region funded by West of England Combined Authority (WECA), after they secured £238,000 funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) for the new Women into Digital Jobs, Education and Training (WIDJET) programme.
BGC DigiTech was nominated for a 2019 Tech Sparkies Award.
